 Harriette Hartigan is a photographer, producer, writer and midwife. She has been documenting the childbirth experience since 1975. Her art and teaching reach into emotional, physical and social realms of life on this journey.
WHY I CREATED THIS BOOK: As I photographed birth for the first time, I wanted everyone to see what I was seeing.
